The UpTake, a citizen journalism organization, has leveraged the power of Zanby to create a new model for journalism. They use Zanby as the backend of their site. It enables them to organize the journalists throughout the country and supports their dynamic style of video reporting. We designed their logo and identity pieces as well as the identity for Zanby. These pieces included business cards, banners, web badges and t-shirts. The identity work helped The UpTake quickly gain visibility and within the first year of launch they were named one of the top political sites by the Center for Public Integrity. Their stories are often carried by news organizations including CNN and The Huffington Post.
